Dargah of Saint Moinuddin Chistti and Pushkar makes Ajmer a very holy town in Rajasthan. Ajmer is located amidst the Aravali range and is one of the most calm and beautiful cities of Rajasthan. The town is now expanding its base from Adarshnagar and Ramganj on one side and Vaishali Nagar, Panchsheel and Shastri Nagar on the other sides.

One place in Ajmer that still stands intact and hasn't lost its charm is the Anasagar Lake and Baradari. The beautiful lake has its historical importance but today the park near the lake also known as Baradari is one of the most beautiful natural spots in Ajmer. People from all walks of life visit this place and enjoy the scenic beauty alongside the lake. There is a small Island Restaurant inside the Lake where you can go in a boat.

Adjacent to the Anasagar Baradari is Bajrang Garh Temple and a small Market. Bajrang Garh is a Hanuman Temple located on the hill top. The place at the top is amazingly beautiful and you can see the panoramic view of the city and the Anasagar Lake from here.

The small market near Bajrang Garh offers Pau Bhaaji, paani Puri and other mouth watering and delicious food items.
